“We enjoyed our time here, the house was very modern and very comfortable with great facilities and furniture. It is very spacious inside with doors that open out onto the large deck. Leslie (who looks after the place) was very welcoming to us. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, we definitely got a good deal (cost wise) staying here and would look at booking this place in the future.” “We stayed at Yellow bird for 10 days. It is spacious and extremely well appointed with a fantastic swimming beach literally meters from your front decking area .I was very surprised to see the house so beautiful appointed with absolute privacy. Jaret and Carey of Go-Cookislands.com, were so helpful and immediately responded to all the emails we had sent thru to prepare for our holiday. I can recommended both the Yellow Bird Lagoon Villas as a place to stay and also the expert team at Go Cookislands.com to make your holiday one to remember.” “Yellow Bird Villas is without a doubt, a true holiday experience. The combination of a great swimming beach, location to child friendly restaurants and a well appointed home is one which made our holiday time in the Cook Islands one to remember. To wake to that view of the lagoon and a barefoot walk along the beach each morning, without a worry in the world is truly magical. We are already planning our trip back for next year. Peaceful, relaxing, easy going , great people – a true holiday.”
“Rarotonga and the Cook Islands – what an Awesome place – and still pretty much a secret destination – so few tourist actually know of this place. We had 11 days on Rarotonga and with our morning walks along the beach; ours were the only footprints that were made on most days. Those stunning white sand beaches and swaying coconut palms that you see in the travel brochures with the Blue Blue Blue of the ocean as a backdrop , well this place is where you really do see it . We were stunned to see such natural beauty, lush jungle interior with the mountains dropping down to white sandy beaches and the locals still wearing the colorful flowers in their hair –women folk and children sitting under the shade of the swaying palms whilst the men folk out fishing in their canoes – the romance of the south pacific is still alive and well in the cook islands.”
Honestly can't recommend staying at Yellow Bird Lagoon enough! Beautiful, spacious and inviting place to stay - perfectly set up for relaxing times. The abundance of mangos, bananas and fruits that grow on the property that we were able to help ourselves to was heaven. As was being able to wander down to the beautiful beach or closeby cafes etc. 24/7. The hosts were absolutely amazing - so helpful and friendly. Will definately be back!
